Overview Ausangate Trek 5 Days

Day1: Route: CUSCO – TINKI – PACCHANTA – 7 LAGOONS – PACHASPATA

Welcome to the first day of your incredible 5-day Ausangate trek adventure with Andino Peru Tours! Our specialized trekking guide will meet you at your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 a.m. to kick off this exciting journey. We’ll head out in a comfortable private van towards the community of Pacchanta, a drive of approximately 3.5 hours. Before diving into the hike, you’ll have the chance to relax in the soothing hot springs of Pacchanta, preparing yourself for the exciting day ahead.

At 12:00 p.m., it’s time to savor the exquisite dishes prepared by our talented local chef—an unmissable culinary experience! By 1:30 p.m., we’ll begin our hike to the Pachaspata campsite, a stunning 3-hour trek through breathtaking landscapes and impressive natural surroundings. Once we reach Pachaspata, nestled among majestic snow-capped peaks, you’ll marvel at the scenic beauty and enjoy a spectacular sunset over the mountains.

Don’t forget to admire the famous and dazzling 7 lagoons along the way. It’s an experience you’ll cherish forever!

Day2: Route: PACHASPATA – JHAMPA PASS – JHAMPA PAMPA – HUCHUY PHINAYA

On this day, we’ll start early. At 5:30 a.m., our cook will wake you with a comforting hot drink to prepare you for the day ahead. By 6:00 a.m., you’ll enjoy a delicious outdoor breakfast prepared by our talented local chef. At 7:00 a.m., we’ll begin our trek toward our first destination, the impressive Jhampa Pass, which stands at 5,010 meters above sea level. From this point, you’ll be rewarded with incredible panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.

Around midday, we’ll arrive at Jhampa Pampa, where another delicious lunch awaits to help you recharge and enjoy a well-deserved break. At 1:00 p.m., we’ll resume our hike toward the Huchuy Phinaya campsite. Along the way, you’ll traverse a beautiful landscape filled with llamas and alpacas that will leave you in awe. By 4:00 p.m., we’ll reach Huchuy Phinaya, where you’ll be greeted by an impressive setting with views of the majestic Vilcabamba Mountain Range.

At 5:30 p.m., you’ll enjoy a hot drink followed by a delicious dinner, then settle in at the campsite, ready to rest and recharge for the next day.

This day promises spectacular views and an unforgettable experience as we explore the natural beauty of the Peruvian Andes.

Day3: Ruta : HUCHUY PHINAYA – PASO PALOMANI – AUSANGATE QOCHA – ANANTA

Comenzaremos temprano a las 5:30 a.m., cuando nuestro cocinero te despierte con una reconfortante bebida caliente para prepararte para el día. A las 6:00 a.m., disfrutarás de un segundo desayuno preparado por nuestro experto chef local, asegurándote de tener la energía necesaria para la jornada. Desde temprano, nos preparamos para una jornada desafiante y gratificante mientras nos dirigimos hacia el Paso Palomani, el punto más alto de nuestra ruta, elevándonos a 5210 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Aquí, seremos testigos de vistas impresionantes de la región, una experiencia que nos dejará maravillados. Alrededor del mediodía, llegaremos al hermoso Ausangate Qocha, donde nos espera un merecido almuerzo para recargar energías y disfrutar de un descanso bien merecido antes de continuar nuestra travesía hacia el campamento de Ananta, también conocido como Auqui. Aquí, tendrás la oportunidad de descansar y disfrutar de la tranquilidad del entorno mientras nos preparamos para compartir experiencias del día al reunirnos para disfrutar de una bebida caliente a las 5:30 p.m. Luego, a las 6:30 p.m., cenaremos y nos prepararemos para descansar, listos para las aventuras que nos esperan mañana.

Este día te llevará a las faldas de la majestuosa montaña Ausangate y te ofrecerá la oportunidad de alcanzar el punto más alto de todo el Ausangate trek de , el Paso Palomani. Además, tendrás la oportunidad de explorar la encantadora laguna roja (Pukaqocha) y disfrutar de la serenidad de Ananta mientras te sumerges en la belleza natural de los Andes peruanos.

Dia4: Ruta: ANANTA – MONTAÑA DE 7 COLORES – ANANTA – PASO CHILLCA – YANA QOCHA

Comenzaremos temprano a las 5:00 a.m., cuando nuestro chef te despierte con una reconfortante bebida caliente para prepararte para el día, seguido por un delicioso desayuno a las 5:30 a.m. A las 6:00 a.m., iniciaremos nuestra caminata hacia uno de los destinos más esperados de esta experiencia: la impresionante Montaña de 7 Colores. Durante aproximadamente 2,5 horas, nos adentraremos en un paisaje cautivador hasta llegar al mirador de la montaña, donde disfrutarás de una vista panorámica increíble y tendrás la oportunidad de capturar fotografías inolvidables. Alrededor de las 10:00 a.m., emprenderemos nuestro regreso al campamento de Ananta, donde llegaremos aproximadamente 12:00 pm, nuestro chef nos recibirá con un suculento almuerzo para recargar energías y disfrutar de un merecido descanso.

We’ll start the day with a final, comforting breakfast at 5:30 a.m., preparing to complete the last leg of our journey. At 6:00 a.m., we’ll embark on the exciting final stretch of the 5-day Ausangate Trek. For approximately 4 hours, we’ll enjoy a serene hike toward the community of Upis, arriving around 10:00 a.m. Before our last lunch, you’ll have the chance to relax in the hot springs of Upis, providing a well-deserved break after our days of adventure.

Around noon, we’ll indulge in our final lunch, sharing fond moments with our expedition team. After lunch, we’ll bid a heartfelt farewell to our team, including the muleteers and cook, who have been an essential part of our experience.

Finally, we’ll board our private transportation back to Cusco, a journey that will take approximately 3.5 hours. We’ll arrive in the city between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., carrying with us the unforgettable memories of this remarkable adventure in the Peruvian Andes.
