Overview Vilcabamba Trek 7 Days

Day 1: Cusco – Huacacalle – Vitcos & Ñusta Hispana – Vilcabamba

Overnight Bus: Depart from Cusco on a night bus.
Morning Arrival: Early arrival in Huacacalle to visit two important archaeological sites: Vitcos-Rosaspatas and Ñusta Hispana.
Trek Begins: After lunch, start the trek to Vilcabamba (3,250 m.a.s.l.), where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2: Vilcabamba – Ututo (2,800 m.a.s.l.)

Jungle Descent: Begin your descent toward the cloud forest, passing through stunning landscapes filled with diverse flora and fauna.
Camp at Ututo.

Day 3: Ututo – Vista Alegre (1,550 m.a.s.l.) – Concevidayoc (1,420 m.a.s.l.)

Biodiversity and Wildlife: Trek further into the jungle, encountering incredible plant life and possibly spotting the Tunki, also known as the Cock-of-the-Rock, Peru’s national bird.
Camp at Concevidayoc.

Day 4: Concevidayoc – Espiritu Pampa (1,200 m.a.s.l.)

Archaeological Highlight: Reach Espiritu Pampa, one of the most important archaeological sites of the trek and the last capital of the Inca Empire. This site is a hidden gem, steeped in history and surrounded by lush jungle.
Camp at Espiritu Pampa.

Day 5: Espiritu Pampa – Chinguanguire – Siete Tinajas (The Sven Waterfalls)

Natural Wonders: Cross through incredible landscapes, including the massive and beautiful Siete Tinajas (Sven Waterfalls).
Arrival at Quillabamba: Conclude the day in the tropical city of Quillabamba.

Day 6: Quillabamba – Return to Cusco

Journey Back: Travel by bus back to Cusco, enjoying the beautiful landscapes of the region.

Day 7: Espiritu Pampa – Chinguanguire – Siete Tinajas – Quillabamba

Hike to Chinguanguire: Begin the day with a trek to Chinguanguire, passing through the massive and stunning **Siete Tinajas (Sven Waterfalls)**. These incredible waterfalls are a highlight of the journey, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere.
Arrival at Quillabamba: Conclude the day in the tropical city of  Quillabamba, known for its warm climate and lush surroundings.

Day 8: Quillabamba – Return to Cusco

Journey Back: Take a bus back to Cusco, enjoying the scenic beauty along the way.
